Preparing the Cocktail Base: Pour all the liquid ingredients into one big jug, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain best through cheesecloth, to ensure it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of your premix into a mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for one minute until cold. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it using a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
